Abstract | A 1 -liter sample of wastewater is acidified and extracted with methylene chloride using separatory funnel techniques. The extract is dried and concentrated to a volume of 10 mL or less During the concentration step, the solvent is exchanged to 2-propanol. Flame ionization gas chromatographic conditions are described which allow for the measurement of the compounds in the extract. |
